OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 1, 2016) - Two Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 Hornets will conduct a flyby over Percival Molson Memorial Stadium at the opening of the Montreal Alouettes Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Appreciation game on Sunday, October 2, 2016, at approximately 1:00 p.m.
The aircraft will fly over the stadium at an altitude no lower than 500 feet above the highest point of their route before resuming a higher flying altitude for the return trip to 3 Wing Bagotville.
Flybys by CAF aircraft are conducted in support of special events. They are carefully planned and closely controlled to ensure public safety at all times.
