Public Service Announcement: Schedule of the Memorial Motorcade for Our Fallen Soldier

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 31, 2011) - The motorcade carrying our fallen soldier, Bombardier Karl Manning, of the 5e Régiment d'artillerie légère du Canada based at CFB Valcartier, Quebec, serving with the 1er Battalion Royal 22e Régiment Battle Group will be travelling on Highway 401 West, this afternoon, Tuesday May 31, 2011.

Bombardier Manning died from non-combat related wounds on May 27, 2011, at Forward Operating Base Zangabad, located 45 Kilometres southwest of Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan.

The aircraft carrying our fallen comrade will arrive at 8 Wing, Canadian Forces Base Trenton on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at 2 p.m. The motorcade is expected to leave the base no later than 3 p.m., and travelling west on the "Highway of Heroes," is expected to arrive in Toronto at approximately 5 p.m. Motorists are advised this may cause a delay in traffic.
