This award honors people under age 40 who are dynamic leaders in the business community, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and exemplary civic involvement. Landon was selected out of more than 400 nominees.

To be selected, honorees for the Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40 award were nominated then asked to complete a rigorous application process. To qualify, nominees had to be 39 years of age or younger, top leaders in their organization, industry and in the community, and had to clearly demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit. A panel of judges reviewed the applications and selected this year's 40 honorees. The 2016 40 Under 40 Award winners join a distinguished list of 680 alumni.
