Pulse Seismic Inc. Announces Executive Appointments

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - March 31, 2011) - Douglas Cutts, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pulse Seismic Inc. (TSX:PSD) ("Pulse" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce the following executive appointments effective April 1, 2011.

Mr. Jeff Bectold has been promoted to the position of Vice President Operations. With over 15 years of seismic industry experience, Mr. Bectold joined Pulse in 2008 as Manager Participation Surveys. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Bectold held a similar position with Arcis from 2001 to 2007 and various positions with Schlumberger from 1994 to 2001. In 1993 Mr. Bectold received his Bachelor Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and went on to complete the Geophysical Certificate Program from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1999.

Mr. Brent Gale will assume the role of Senior Vice President in conjunction with his duties as Chief Operating Officer of Pulse. Mr. Gale, a founder of the Company, has over 30 years of seismic industry experience.
