Puma Starts Drilling at Turgeon Copper-Zinc Project in New Brunswick

RIMOUSKI, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Nov. 5, 2014) - Puma Exploration (TSX VENTURE:PUM) has just started a 1,000 meters drill program at its 100% Turgeon Copper-Zinc VMS deposit in New Brunswick. The drill targets were defined by recent successful drill program which include the discovery of the massive sulphide Dragon Zone, located only 200 meters south-west of the main Powerline and Zinc Zone deposits, and the two (2) new surface trenching discoveries.

The Dragon Zone consists of a four meters massive sulphide intercept in drill hole FT13-13, grading 1.01% Cu and 0.78% Zn which is similar in grade to the massive sulphide zones intersected throughout the adjacent main deposits at Turgeon. This zone is interpreted to be the edge of a pervasive VMS system that occurs in the same volcanic unit.

"The main objective of the current program is to discover additional higher grade Cu-Zn mineralization associated with the typical VMS geological model in the Dragon Zone area, in particular, any chalcopyrite (Cu) Stockwork mineralization over significant thickness which could be related with the recently discovered massive sulphide intercepts and proving-up the presence of entire new VMS system." notes Marcel Robillard, President of Puma Exploration.

The Turgeon property is located within a few kilometers of a deep water port which provide an unparalleled infrastructure advantage compared to similar projects around the world. We currently await assay results from our recent stripping program conducted in September at the Turgeon South new Bern copper zone.
