MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - June 9, 2008) -

NEWS FACTS

Punch Entertainment, a developer and publisher of community-based mobile games out of Mountain View, Calif., today launched Mobile Battles: Reign of Swords, the first in a series of multiplayer turn- based strategy games.

The objective of medieval-themed Reign of Swords is for each player to reclaim the imperial kingdom of Carrone through a succession of single player or multiplayer battles. Through tactics and strategies, players vie for various kingdoms, where titles of nobility are gained and lost, as players battle it out for supremacy.

Reign of Swords is the first commercially live game that offers synced multiplayer gameplay across mobile phones and PCs. Reign of Swords launches on AT&T and Verizon, with additional support from Virgin Mobile and other carriers in the coming months. The PC version of the game is available online and can be downloaded directly from www.mobilebattles.com. A free trial online allows players to proceed through the first three kingdoms before downloading the full version for a one-time fee of $9.95.

About Mobile Battles: Reign of Swords

-- Reign of Swords is a medieval-themed collectibles battle game set in a fantasy empire in turmoil. Featuring 23 types of units including heroes, wizards, artillery, griffon riders, swordsmen, archers and a variety of soldiers that can be earned and upgraded, players attempt to conquer 8 different kingdoms.

-- The game's hallmark, mobile-to-PC sync feature is powered by a proprietary battle server that allows players to find rivals, issue challenges and check battle reports and standings at any time.

-- The site enables social networking and allows players to meet each other and participate in forums to hone strategies. Other features include the ability to check high scores, play demos of the game and learn tips and tricks.

How Reign of Swords Works

-- To begin, each player starts out as a newly appointed knight in the service of the Emperor, selects an avatar and crest, and creates a custom army that can be taken into battle.

-- Players engage in epic battles with other players such as sieges, ambushes, stealth warfare and huge open field clashes. Reign of Swords features 49 campaign missions and 28 multiplayer rival battles to fight through. Players also can build a rival list of players to send out challenges and compare high scores.

-- Players can choose between single player or multiplayer campaigns to conquer kingdoms and build an army. Each kingdom conquered unlocks new multiplayer and single player maps.

-- Noble titles and bonus units for a player's army are awarded each week to players with the highest scores on the Reign of Swords leaderboard.
