PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - Oct 24, 2013) - Inc. Magazine has featured Puppet Labs, the leading provider of IT automation software for system administrators, in their 2nd annual Inc. Hire Power Awards, recognizing the private businesses that have generated the most jobs in the past three years. Puppet Labs' IT automation software enables system administrators to deliver the operational agility and efficiency of cloud computing at enterprise-class service levels, scaling from handfuls of nodes on-premise to tens of thousands in the cloud.

Puppet Labs generated 120 jobs from January 1st, 2012 to June 30th, 2013, ranking it #1 in the state of Oregon and #12 in the software industry out of more than 400 private growth companies.

"Our goal at Puppet Labs is to find the best candidates for the positions available," said Laura Stepp, VP of HR and Organizational Development. We take our culture very seriously at Puppet Labs and want our employees to feel that they are making an impact. When recruiting, we seek only those who will thrive here, active learners and teachers, willing to lead, but who are also collaborative by nature."

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that only 222,000 full-time jobs were added in 2012 -- compare those numbers to the honorees of the Inc. magazine's Hire Power Awards, which created 69,182 jobs between January 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013.
