Puradyn Gears Up Technology for New Applications

BOYNTON BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - December 10, 2007) - Puradyn Filter Technologies Incorporated (OTCBB: PFTI) today disclosed advances it has made in a growing number of domestic and international markets offering the puraDYN® oil filtration system to dramatically reduce oil usage as oil prices are becoming a major concern in many parts of the world.

In Australia, Tenix of Brisbane reported it has been using the puraDYN® system on Pacific Class Patrol Boats for several years. Each boat, which is run by individual nations under the guidance of Advisors from the Australian Navy, has reported significant savings in oil usage and related costs as oil maintenance schedules have been dramatically and safely extended. The extended maintenance interval has helped to improve the fleet's availability as well.

According to Jesse James, Procurement Officer, Tenix of Brisbane, "Our job is to maintain these patrol boats in the Pacific Region for 12 Pacific Nations, including Samoa, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. Over the years with this project, first as a serving sailor and now as a 'civvy,' I can say the cost savings from not changing oil is significant and the engines run better and longer."

Puradyn is also pleased to report that as a direct result of the previously publicized three-year evaluation (2002-2005) conducted by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the puraDYN® system was selected to be installed on specially-modified Gradall excavators used by the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). The excavators, powered by Cummins diesel engines, are utilized in a 40-acre restrictive area contaminated with radioactive waste making normal maintenance procedures hazardous and unwieldy. By using the puraDYN® system on both the engines and the excavator's hydraulic system, the operating crew does not foresee having to change oil throughout the seven-year duration of the project.

Given the widespread increased interest in energy conservation and cost, these types of recommendations are opening new doors for Puradyn around the world.

Likewise, the puraDYN® system's accomplishments in Colombia on articulated bus engines led to testing and recently announced orders for these buses' transmissions, opening a new market. Now the manufacturer of the buses themselves has initiated a meeting with Puradyn's local representative. A short test will commence within a month and based on results, will provide market opportunities in several other countries for both engines and transmissions.

Kevin G. Kroger, President and COO, Puradyn, said, "In recent months we have received requests to develop systems to help clean up hydraulic bulk storage tanks. With new cleanliness standards being enforced by major machine manufacturers, construction and mining companies nationwide will be investigating ways to help them comply. A specific puraDYN® system has been engineered to clean a 1,000-gallon tank in 2 days and will be shortly tested.

"Our distributor in Southeast Asia accelerated sales growth in 2007 over the average of the previous five years by approximately 172%, and has now approached us about developing technology for other diesel applications."

Kroger concluded, "All this activity has reinforced our belief that prudent use of oil is a worldwide concern -- what is conserved now will be a resource later. By keeping engine, transmission, or hydraulic oil clean and performing at optimum levels, our product provides benefits on numerous levels other than just avoiding oil changes; whether a customer is looking to extend oil-drain intervals, offset increasingly volatile costs of oil, conserve natural resources, or clean sludge and soot from engines or hydraulic equipment, the puraDYN® system is more than capable of helping them reach their goals."
