Pure Storage Sponsors Series of VMware User Groups Events

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 6, 2012) - Pure Storage, the all-flash enterprise storage company, today announced that it will be sponsoring an upcoming series of regional VMware User Groups. Designed to encourage and support communities of VMware users who want to hold regular meetings in their local areas, VMware User Groups, also known as VMUGs, provide a forum in which VMware users can share best practices and expertise and exchange ideas and information. VMUGs also allow VMware, the global leader in virtual infrastructure software for industry-standard systems, to obtain feedback from the user community.

"VMUG events bring together the IT professionals responsible for making virtualization deployments successful in their data centers, and Pure Storage is excited to participate in the sharing of knowledge and exchange of expertise across this important virtualization community," said Matt Kixmoeller, VP product marketing and management, Pure Storage. "We're big believers in independent user groups whose focus is on the deep technical aspects of new technologies and the real-world applications of those technologies."

In the upcoming months, Pure Storage will be sponsoring the following VMware User Group events:
