Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. Appoints Borys Chabursky to the Board of Directors


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 27, 2015) - Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PTU) today announced that Mr. Borys Chabursky has been appointed as a member of its Board of Directors and the Chair of its Audit Committee.

Mr. Chabursky is the President of SHI Consulting which he founded in the 1990s. He specializes in strategic planning, capital sourcing and business development for biotechnology, medical device, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical companies. Mr. Chabursky has worked closely with industry leaders, Top 10 pharmaceutical companies, government, hospitals and health care networks. He has also provided interim management for seven start-up companies and angel financing for eighteen new start-up ventures in the life science, service and entertainment sectors.

In addition to his role as President of SHI Consulting, Mr. Chabursky also serves as the Chairman of SHI Capital. He contributes his time, energy and experience to a number of commercial and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Chabursky currently sits on the Board of Directors/advisory boards of NCMDD Corporation, GEMMA Biotechnology, Micropharma, Life:Wire, Minera Alamos Inc., the Orange Circle, and the Industrial Policy Advisory Committee (IPAC) for a multinational pharmaceutical company.

The Company has also today approved the issuance of a total of 5,910,000 options to its Board of Directors, management and certain staff members pursuant to the Company's stock option plan. The options vest immediately, are exercisable at a price of $0.06 per common share and expire on a date that is five years from the date of grant.
