PureSpectrum, Inc. Appoints Three Independent Directors to Board of Directors

Company Continues to Make Strides Toward Meeting All Requirements for Move to More Senior Stock Exchange

SAVANNAH, GA--(Marketwire - April 23, 2009) - PureSpectrum, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PSPM) has named David M. Betsill, Robert E. James, II, and Dominic C. Mazzone as independent directors on the company's board of directors effective May 1, 2009 as the company continues to meet requirements to become a fully reporting public company.

Mr. Betsill was formerly a partner with Ernst & Young with more than 30 years of experience managing relationships with clients as the Coordinating Partner on a number of large publicly and privately-held companies, including several Fortune 1000 companies. In addition to his experience participating in hundreds of transactions such as initial public offerings, mergers, divestitures, carve-outs, re-capitalizations and industry consolidations, he was a member of the Ernst and Young Mergers and Acquisitions Due Diligence Group for three years and initiated the Southeast Area Mergers and Acquisitions Due Diligence practice.

Mr. James is the lead attorney for the Savannah, Georgia, office of Golden and Associates, P.C., as well as the founder and president of Coastal Legacy Group, LLC, a commercial and residential real estate development company with a history of participating in green building projects. Mr. James graduated magna cum laude from Howard University and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard University Law School. He began his career with the Atlanta law firm Troutman Sanders and specialized in government-business transactions for clients such as Georgia Power Company, Turner Broadcasting System, AT&T Corporation and Georgia Pacific Corporation. He currently is a director for the Carver State Bank of Savannah, where he serves as the Chairman for the Strategic Planning Committee, and is Chairman of Big Bethel Village, L.P., a multimillion dollar affordable housing development for senior citizens sponsored by the Big Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church of Atlanta.

Mr. Mazzone is the managing director of the mergers and acquisitions advisory firm Mazzone & Associates in Atlanta and the former head of mergers and acquisitions for The Home Depot's legal department. He has also served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Oxford Industries, Inc., a publicly traded producer, marketer and retailer of private label men's apparel. He was recognized by Chain Store magazine as one of the top 40 retail executives in the country, was recognized by Atlanta Magazine as one of the most respected mergers and acquisitions advisers in Georgia, teaches as an adjunct professor at the Emory University School of Law and serves on the board of directors for the Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
