PureSpectrum, Inc. Appoints William R. Norton as Executive Vice President

SAVANNAH, GA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 19, 2007 --PureSpectrum, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PSPM) has appointed William R. Norton as Executive Vice President.

For several months, Norton has acted as a consultant and served as a member of the board of directors for the technology company which owns the rights to multiple patents and patent applications for an innovative electronic ballast technology. Norton is retired from Reliance Electric Company (REC), where he managed a staff of more than 10 attorneys as Vice President and General Counsel.

While with REC, a publicly held company on the NYSE, Norton was instrumental in leading a highly successful management-led leveraged buyout by Exxon and played a key role when REC was finally purchased by Rockwell International in a hostile tender offer. In addition to those high profile maneuvers, Norton was critical to the management of numerous company financings, stock issuances and tender offers as well as many domestic and international acquisitions and dispositions, including Toledo Scale, Houghton Elevator and Reliable Electric.

"Bill Norton's experience at the highest level of the corporate ladder makes him an invaluable asset for PureSpectrum, Inc.," said PureSpectrum president Lee Vanatta. "(Norton) has already made significant contributions to the company while sitting on the board of directors and acting as a consultant. We feel like the leadership and insight he provides will strengthen our company as we launch our technology globally and begin making decisions about licensing the technology."
