Purio Announces On-Location Compact Unit Testing

BLAINE, WA--(Marketwire - February 25, 2008) - Purio (OTCBB: PURO) is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with a private land-owner to test our new compact model clarifier in a real-life, on-location situation. In this application the compact unit will process waste-water from a single-family residence's existing septic tank. The waste-water will be clarified using Purio's patented process, and the product water will undergo further upgrading and sanitization to meet or exceed local guidelines.

In keeping with Purio's "green theme" the product water will be released through an irrigation system for beautification of the grounds.

For ease of portability, Purio's plans call for the entire unit including upgrade and sanitization equipment to fit on a 4'x10' skid.

"The next few weeks of testing will provide the company with valuable design and costing information," says Earl Switeanky, spokesman for Purio. "We are purposely pushing the envelope on this design in three directions. One is in the downscaling of our existing model, and the other is in the low capital cost and low operational cost of this equipment, and the third is in energy efficiency. Our design calculations already have confirmed that the unit is capable of being powered by solar power in suitable regions."

"We're ahead of schedule on the building and testing of this model. We had previously announced a six-month time line. Due to a high volume of inquiries for equipment of this size and other circumstances in our favor, we are pleased to move that forward," says Switenky. "We expect to have water flowing through the unit and testing begun by March."
