Purolator and the Stampeders Team Up to Tackle Hunger

Purolator Tackle Hunger Program Celebrates Tenth Year Anniversary Season in Calgary

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 25, 2012) - Purolator, Canada's largest shipping solutions providers, is proud to host its annual Purolator Tackle Hunger food drive in support of the Calgary Food Bank at the Stampeders vs. BC Lions game on July 28th at McMahon Stadium. All proceeds from the food drive will support the Calgary Food Bank. Advance photo and game day media opportunities are outlined below.


Media are encouraged to attend a pre-game celebration with Calgary Stampeders running back Jon Cornish who will visit the Calgary Food Bank with Purolator and the Grey Cup. To celebrate this 10th landmark season, Purolator is donating a refurbished delivery truck to the Calgary Food Bank.

Fans can text TACKLE to 30333 to make a one-time donation of $5, which will be added to people's mobile phone bill. One hundred per cent of the proceeds support Food Banks Canada.
