PUSH Introduces Two New Board Members, Nigel Stokes and Ted Hastings

Both Influential Members of the Startup Community in Canada Will Help Bring PUSH to Product Release

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - Jun 17, 2014) -  Fitness technology company PUSH today welcomes two new board members, Nigel Stokes of MindAngler Capital and Ted Hastings of Rebellion Media. The board members have a hands-on role in the release of the company's flagship product, a fitness tracker to analyze strength training. The PUSH Band provides serious gym-goers, professional athletes or athletes-in-training with scientifically-validated metrics to visualize training performance.

"Right now is an exciting time for us with growing support from investors and new board members as we just wrapped a very successful beta program and are on the cusp of bringing our product to market," said Rami Alhamad, CEO and co-founder of PUSH. "As we prepare for this milestone, we are thrilled to have the expertise and insight of experienced business leaders like Nigel and Ted."

Nigel Stokes is founder of MindAngler Capital, as well as Chairman and CEO at HubHead, the leader in predictive technology for asset data, and Chairman at AppZero, migration technology for moving complex Windows server applications across the cloud.

"The PUSH team is building a highly disruptive strength training solution," said Stokes. "It has captured the interest of professionals because it is based on fundamental sports science research. PUSH's core technology, using an advanced special purpose, intermittent wearable, will revolutionize the gym for athletes, coaches and trainers across the globe. I am delighted and excited to join their Board."

Ted Hastings is CEO of Rebellion Media, a leading full-service digital media company in Canada, providing an innovative content, traffic and monetization platform for companies.

"There is no doubt about stiff competition in wearables for fitness, health and wellness. But PUSH is the first company to market with a device that is focused on solving core issues that exist, not only for elite athletes, but also the everyday gym member," said Hastings. "The team is solid, the device has been tested and the seed investors bring strategic strength. I'm looking forward to helping improve the returns for every hour spent in the gym."

The PUSH Band is available for pre-order for $149 USD at www.pushstrength.com. The devices will ship in summer 2014.
