WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - April 4, 2011) - The Renaissance Dupont Circle Hotel and the Corcoran College of Art + Design will celebrate the synergy between art and hospitality with the third installation of Put a CORC in It! A collection of 15 contemporary works from students at the Corcoran College of Art + Design will be on display in this Washington, DC Dupont Circle hotel's lounge through Labor Day, September 5, 2011.
Set among the Dupont Circle hotel's eclectic M Bar lounge and restaurant, the new exhibition lends itself to the Renaissance experience designed for the modern discoverer who lives to unearth life's hidden gems: collecting new tastes, sights, sounds, and experiences and making them their own.

The newest Put a CORC in It! installation will be celebrated on April 5, 2011 with a wine tasting with artisanal cheeses and light hors d'oeuvres from Chef Devon Capili. Corcoran leadership and supporters will join hotel guests and friends of the Renaissance Dupont Circle to honor the artists.

The launch of the exhibition's third installation is a timely anticipation of the opening of NEXT at the Corcoran: BFA Class of 2011 (April 23-May 22), a dynamic, interactive, and innovative exhibition featuring the thesis work of the senior students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program at the Corcoran. Centered on the idea of direct and intense creative education, the Corcoran is Washington's only four-year college of art and design and one of the only museum-schools in the country.
