Putnam Investments Launches Wealth Management Center for Advisors

Web Site Provides Wealth Management and Retirement Planning Ideas and Content

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - November 30, 2010) - In order to bring timely and insightful content to financial advisors and their clients, Putnam Investments has launched a new Wealth Management Center, accessible through Putnam's advisor Web site. The Wealth Management Center features ongoing commentary on a variety of financial planning subjects, including the latest developments around taxes, planning for retirement and other wealth-related strategies, and a wide range of investment and wealth management information, planning ideas and tools.

The Wealth Management Center addresses the needs of financial advisors in a way that is effective for them: 62 percent of high-producing advisors use news, commentary and information from asset manager Web sites and 77.5 percent of advisors use social media.1 By using this channel, Putnam is able to get to market quickly with timely content, dynamic commentary and relevant strategies that can help advisors in financial planning conversations with their clients.
