Combining photography, artifacts, sculptural installations, a listening environment for their newly released audio CD, as well as a book launch, this comprehensive exhibition will open in honour of World Alzheimer's Day on September 22nd at Toronto City Hall (Rotunda) and will run through Saturday September 27th, 2008. www.oise.utoronto.ca/research/mappingcare

Professors McIntyre and Cole's University of Toronto-based, cross-disciplinary work focuses on the caring experiences of the growing number of people in our community and in diverse communities all across the country who strive to bring dignity to those with Alzheimer's disease. Their research 'results' are a dynamic expression of love and loss built through connections they have forged with 'ordinary' Canadians who are caring for a person living with Alzheimer's. Filled with hope, humour, and sadness, this work will expand public understanding of the disease and the complexities of caregiving.
