PVBLIC Foundation Amplifies Message of Bystander Revolution on Times Square Billboards During National Bullying Prevention Month


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Oct 14, 2015) - PVBLIC assists Bystander Revolution in launching their #MonthOfAction campaign through featured displays of billboards in Times Square brought together through a partnership with Bystander, PVBLIC and Branded Cities. 

The billboards launched on October 1st and will play throughout October about four times per hour. The displays promote Bystander Revolution's #MonthOfAction in observance of national bullying prevention month. The campaign will focus on urging people to complete daily challenges to help stop bullying.

On September 30th, Bystander Revolution Ambassador and Strategic Advisor, Monica Lewinsky, launched #MonthOfAction on ABC's Good Morning America, with People to exclusively follow in print and online October 1st. For all 31 days in October, Bystander Revolution will roll out daily challenges via InstagramTwitterFacebookTumblr, email, and text message to raise awareness of powerful actions anyone can do to defuse bullying. Celebrities such as Olivia WildeSalma HayekLily CollinsMichael J. Fox, Rashida Jones, Jamie Lee Curtis and Alan Cumming, along with organizations such as GLAAD, PACER, The Bully Project, Crisis Text Line, Common Sense Media, and MTV's Look Different, have teamed up with Bystander Revolution to create their own daily challenges for #MonthOfAction.

Participants can sign up for #MonthOfAction on Bystander Revolution's website. Based on their preference, Bystander Revolution will email and/or text the day's challenge with suggested actions. Participants are encouraged to share what they did with their networks by posting a photo, one of the Bystander Revolution graphics, or a few words with the hashtag #MonthOfAction. For every action completed, participants will be entered to win Bystander Revolution swag and other prizes, including Amazon Fires and tickets to iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball 2015.

PVBLIC Foundation supported the campaign in its planning process and during the implementation through a partnership with Branded Cities to feature promotional videos in New York's Times Square.
