As Long as There's a Reason, There's a Ride

PORT HOPE, ON--(Marketwired - July 22, 2016) - Over 250 riders and crew will be cycling for six days during their 600 km journey to Montréal in PWA's Friends For Life Bike Rally in support of the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation (PWA).

Assisted by a volunteer crew, riders will leave Toronto on the morning of Sunday, July 24, and will cycle through the southern portion of Northumberland County and through Prince Edward County to Adolphustown to end their 2nd day on July 25. The Bike Rally will arrive in Montréal on the afternoon of Friday, July 29.

This year, the Bike Rally is expected to raise over $1 million for PWA. Scotiabank returns as presenting sponsor of the Bike Rally for the 9th year.

"We're excited to be back to support the Friends For Life Bike Rally, which does such important work for people living with HIV and AIDS in our country," said Mark Carrothers, Community Manager in Cobourg at Scotiabank.
