PXI Systems Alliance Releases New Multi-Vendor PXI Configurations Media Content

This Media Content Illustrates the Diversity of PXI Configurations That Can Be Built to Address Emerging Test Applications in Multiple Industry Segments

NIWOT, CO--(Marketwired - Feb 19, 2014) - The growing adoption of PXI is fuelled by key benefits of this standard -- flexibility, scalability, footprint and speed -- and the increasing size of the PXI module portfolio. Each year, current and new PXI module manufacturers as well as software vendors and integrators, enable the development of solutions for evolving applications in multiple industry segments.

As the PXI standard facilitates the integration of PXI modules and software from different vendors, most configurations benefit from the expertise and leadership from vendors in various technology domains.

To illustrate the power and diversity of these configurations as well as the interoperability of multi-vendor solutions, more than 14 members have participated in a PXISA multi-vendor media event. This media library includes examples of solutions for applications requiring either a small space with a 4-slot chassis, to large scale or high performance applications with an 18 or 21-slot chassis or a mix of 3U and 6U formats.

The vendors participating in the event are:

  • Applicos
  • ADLINK Technology, Inc.
  • Agilent Technologies
  • Avionics Interface Technology
  • Data Device Corporation
  • Geotest-Marvin Test Solutions, Inc.
  • Goepel Electronics
  • JTAG Technologies
  • Mac Panel
  • National Instruments
  • Pickering Interfaces Ltd.
  • Sundance
  • VTI instruments
  • Teradyne

"This unique media content illustrates diversity of applications and highlights the core values of the PXI standard: density, flexibility, scalability and speed," said Loofie Gutterman, President of the PXI Systems Alliance.
