QASymphony to Attend CAST Testing Conference

Chief Product Officer Vu Lam to Discuss Exploratory Testing Trends

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Jul 31, 2014) -  QASymphony (www.qasymphony.com), a leading provider of scalable QA software testing tools for Agile developers, today announced its co-founder and Chief Product Officer Vu Lam will be discussing Agile and exploratory testing methods at CAST 2014, the Association for Software Testing conference running August 11-13 in New York City at the Kimmel Center. Companies such as AutoTrader, eBay, Nationwide Insurance, Under Armour and Zappos use QASymphony's testing management platform to help teams create high-quality software.

"Since last year's CAST event, QASymphony has shown significant momentum behind its ongoing efforts to help developers and testers create better software," said Vu Lam, Chief Product Officer. "Specifically, we have shown commitment to supporting Agile testing methods with the roll out of innovative cloud-based and on-premise tools for the testing community."

In May the company announced three different editions of its qTest test management platform: qTest Project, Pro, and Enterprise editions, to provide testers the flexibility they need to scale up to different testing scenarios and agile strategies. The qTest platform provides a collaborative work environment for teams to manage requirements, design test cases, plan test execution, track defects, and generate status and quality-metrics reports.

Earlier this year the company announced an important partnership with Doran Jones, a New York-based technology consultancy with clients in financial services which will allow Doran Jones to resell and deploy QASymphony's qTest platform.

Most recently QASymphony announced the appointment of David Keil as the company's new Chief Executive Officer who will provide strategic leadership in the areas of sales growth, partner relations and customer acquisition.

With support for both scripted and exploratory testing, qTest is the only platform that lets the user add innovative exploratory to manual and automated test management, creating a consolidated solution that accelerates the testing process to keep pace with today's rapid agile software development. qTest eXplorer, an add-on to qTest, automatically captures a tester's actions and can generate step-by-step documentation with screen captures. Together these integrated tools comprise a testing management platform that offers complete support for agile testing and provide the only consolidated testing platform to support both scripted and unscripted testing.

In February the company announced the release of "What you Need to Know about Software Testing in the Agile Era." The free eBook imparts practical advice and highlights the impact of major changes in the way software is developed, suggesting the right approach to tackle any new testing project.
