QHR Announces Annual and Special Meeting

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 24, 2011) - QHR Technologies Inc. ("QHR" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:QHR) announced today that it will hold its annual and special general meeting (the "Meeting") on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Suite 300 – 1620 Dickson Avenue, Kelowna, BC at 11:00 am. The following matters will be voted on at the Meeting:

  1. the receiving of the audited financial statements of the Company for the financial year ended December 31, 2010, and accompanying report of the auditor;

  2. the setting of the number of directors of the Company for the ensuing year at six (6) persons;

  3. the election of the directors of the Company to serve until the next annual general meeting of the shareholders;

  4. the appointment Grant Thornton LLP, Chartered Accountants, as the auditor of the Company for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2011 and to authorize the directors of the Company to fix the remuneration to be paid to the auditor for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2011; and

  5. the approval of the Company's Incentive Stock Option Plan, which shall be limited to 10% of the issued shares of the Company at the time of any granting of options.

Due to the lockout of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers on June 15, 2011, the Company may be unable to mail the Notice, Information Circular, Proxy, VIF and NI Card (the "Meeting Materials") to its registered holders, or to deliver them to intermediaries for delivery to the beneficial owners.
