QHR Technologies Appoints John Gillberry as Chief Financial Officer

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 19, 2011) - QHR Technologies Inc. ("QHR")(TSX VENTURE:QHR), a leader in the Canadian healthcare information technology industry, today named John K. Gillberry as the Company's Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. In addition to his responsibilities for QHR's financial reporting and capital planning, Mr. Gillberry will be a key member of QHR's executive team and participate in overall corporate strategic planning.

Mr. Gillberry is a high-energy, results-focused financial strategist with more than 20 years of experience transforming and growing publicly traded companies in diverse sectors including software, medical devices and financial services. He has a proven track record of applying his financial skills and business experience in helping organizations achieve accelerated revenue and earnings growth.

Mr. Gillberry has extensive board experience with both public and private corporations. He is currently a member of the board of directors of WiLAN Inc. (TSX – "WIN") as well as being active with a number of not for profit organizations. John holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business and is a resident of Milton ON.
