Skilled Executive Brings More Than 35 Years of Business and Operations Management Experience to Support Qliance Expansion

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - Jun 6, 2012) - Qliance Medical Management Inc., which operates direct primary care clinics -- also known as "direct primary care medical homes" -- in Washington State, today announced John Gebhart has joined the company as chief operating officer. Gebhart most recently served as chief financial officer of Ventripoint, Inc., a medical device company, and chief financial officer of Remote Medical International, a medical rescue and services company.

"John's experience leading operations for successful health care businesses combined with his enthusiasm for direct primary care make him a great fit for Qliance, and we're thrilled to have him join the company," said Erika Bliss, MD, president and CEO of Qliance Medical Management Inc. "Qliance's growth and expansion plans make the timing right to bring in an experienced executive who can help us best manage operations as we continue to open more clinics and introduce more communities, employers and patients to Qliance's innovative care."

"Qliance offers a transformational business model with tremendous growth potential that is already changing the face of health care, and I'm excited to join the team," said Gebhart. "There is huge potential among large employers and small and medium-sized business looking to offer high-quality care benefits to their employees, while reining in rapidly rising costs of traditional health care packages. This is where primary care is headed."
