QR Energy Extends 9.25% Senior Notes Exchange Offer Due to Inclement Weather and Tenders 100% of Senior Notes

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - Oct 31, 2012) - QR Energy, LP, a Delaware limited partnership ("QR Energy") (NYSE: QRE), announced today that due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy, it has extended the expiration date for its previously announced exchange offer relating to its outstanding 9.25% Senior Notes Due 2020 (the "Notes"), which commenced on September 21, 2012.

The exchange offer, which was originally scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time on October 23, 2012, was initially extended until 5:00 p.m., New York City time on October 30, 2012. QR Energy is extending the exchange offer until 5:00 p.m. New York City time on November 6, 2012. Holders of Notes previously tendered for the exchange shall have the right to withdraw tenders of the Notes at any time prior to the expiration of the exchange offer. As of October 30, 2012, holders of $300,000,000.00, or 100.00% of the outstanding principal amount of the Notes, had tendered their Notes for exchange.
