Quadra Mining Reports No Disruption at Robinson

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 21, 2008) - Quadra Mining Ltd. ("Quadra" or "Company") (TSX:QUA) announces that there has been no damage or disruption to the operational activities at the Robinson Mine ("Robinson" or "Mine") in Ely, Nevada as a result of this morning's earthquake.

A large earthquake struck northeast Nevada near Elko. The quake had a preliminary magnitude of 6.3 and was reported at 6:16 a.m. PST, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was centered in a sparsely populated area 11 miles southeast of Wells near the Nevada-Utah line, approximately 120 miles due north of the Mine.
