Quantum Discovery LLC Announces New Company Name: QDiscovery

Name Speaks to the Company's Strengths in eDiscovery Consultation and Services

NEW LONDON, CT--(Marketwired - Oct 30, 2013) - Quantum Discovery LLC, a premier provider of electronic discovery and forensic technology services, today announced that the company has changed its name to QDiscovery. The new, streamlined name -- effective immediately -- better represents the company's cornerstone commitments to its Fortune® 500 and law firm clients and their projects: quality expertise in the form of consultation, project management and trial presentation and qualified results.

With more than 70 cumulative years of litigation and eDiscovery specialization, QDiscovery's leadership team and electronic discovery professionals offer a comprehensive and customized solution for discovery projects. The process includes developing a clear understanding of the facts and needs that allow for cost-conscious decisions early in the project life cycle. The company's rigorous quality control process ensures projects are completed correctly, accurately and on-time.

"Since the company's founding in 2011, we have provided a consultative and solutions-oriented approach to address legal organizations' eDiscovery, trial presentation and managed document review challenges. However, as the company has grown, we've evolved past the message invoked by our original name. QDiscovery more accurately represents our strengths in the marketplace including our high-quality experts and their ability to provide proven, defensible and qualified results for client projects," said Matt McCormack, CEO of QDiscovery.

QDiscovery will continue to offer:

  • eDiscovery services: In addition to its in-depth expertise, QDiscovery harnesses the power of Viewpoint as a valuable addition to its eDiscovery services. This all-inclusive platform covers the span of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model as well as facilitates traditional review with advantages such as an integrated suite of filtering and analytics capabilities.
  • Data collection: QDiscovery's certified consultants have preserved electronically stored information (ESI) from virtually all operating systems and storage devices and utilize forensically sound tools and processes to collect, analyze, reduce and prepare data for long-term storage or legal review.
  • Trial consulting: QDiscovery's trial consulting services include courtroom design and setup, electronic exhibit preparation, demonstrative exhibit preparation and trial presentation consulting.
  • Managed document review: In this electronic age, document review has become the most expensive part of the discovery process. QDiscovery provides a process for document review that is not only cost-effective, but is done in a defensible manner without sacrificing quality or missing deadlines.
  • Paper discovery: QDiscovery can handle the largest document imaging jobs, including black and white, color, duplex and large format paper both on- and off-site. Its turnkey services include prepping, scanning, indexing, OCR, PDF file delivery and database load file delivery.

QDiscovery, which works with law firms and corporate clients in North America, Europe and Asia, will continue operations from its headquarters in New London, Conn., and its regional offices in Indianapolis and Los Angeles.
