Quantum DXi Deduplication Appliances Win "Storage Product of the Year" at 2011 Storage Awards

(NYSE: QTM), the leading global specialist in backup, recovery and archive, today announced that its DXi6000 disk backup and deduplication appliances were named "Storage Product of the Year" at the 2011 Storage Awards: The Storries VIII. Based on more than 8,000 votes cast by the readers of Storage Magazine, the UK's leading IT and storage publication, the award is testament to Quantum's continued commitment to excellence and innovation in solutions that meet customers' data protection requirements.

The DXi6000 purpose-built deduplication and replication appliances, which encompass the DXi6500 family and DXi6700, are designed to solve end-user data protection problems with an optimal combination of performance, simplicity and value.
