Quantum Energy, Inc: To Acquire Oklahoma Producing Properties From Oil and Gas Consortium

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 11, 2006) - Quantum Energy, Inc. (OTCBB:QEGY)(FWB:B6A) is pleased to announce that it has signed a letter of intent with an Oklahoma Private Oil and Natural Gas Consortium to acquire its proven and producing properties subject to an extensive due diligence study by Quantum and its advisors on the properties to be acquired.

The Companies and properties are as follows:

Wise Oil and Gas, LLC. have producing properties in Nowata, Rogers and Wagner Counties, with an estimated oil and gas recovery of $2 million usd in proven developed producing reserve properties. These properties are engineered by Ramsey Engineering of Edmond, Oklahoma who has over 50 years of experience and expertise in the oil and gas engineering sector.

HoCo, Inc. has producing properties in the Seminol, Garvin and Pott Counties with over $14 million usd in proven developed producing reserves of oil and gas properties also engineered by Ramsey Engineering. HoCo's oil and gas revenue is approximately $60,000 usd net income per month.

Buccaneer Energy, Corp., LLC. has producing properties in the Garvin and Pottawatomie Counties with over $10 million usd of proven developed producing reserves of oil and gas properties also engineered by Ramsey Engineering. Buccaneer Energy, Corp., LLC has over $50,000 usd net income per month.

Buccaneer Energy, LLC, has $3.8 million usd in proven developed producing reserves of oil and gas properties also engineered by Ramsey Engineering and have $55,000 usd per month in net income.

In total there is approx $30 million usd in proven developed producing reserve properties in the Oklahoma area that Quantum is currently negotiating.
