Quantum Energy Partners Names Eric C. Nielsen Managing Director - Business Development


HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - Oct 10, 2012) - Quantum Energy Partners (Quantum), a leading provider of private equity to the energy industry, is pleased to announce that Eric Nielsen has joined as Managing Director - Business Development. He will work closely with Quantum's executive management team to source, capture, and support investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Quantum, Eric was a Managing Director at Korn/Ferry International where he led the Houston office for eight years. Eric spent the past eighteen years as an executive recruiter with a focus on senior-level relationships in the energy and industrial sectors (upstream, downstream, oilfield services, chemicals, power, industrial products and services, EPC and alternative/clean technologies), as well as extensive work for private equity backed organizations. Eric began his career at BHP Petroleum where he served in a variety of engineering, operational, A&D and asset management positions. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa and a Master's in Business Administration from Rice University.
