Quebec Outfitters Federation Receives Funding From Government of Canada


MONTEBELLO, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Dec. 4, 2014) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the Quebec Outfitters Federation (QOF) has been granted financial assistance to help its members improve their productivity, competitiveness and long-term viability.

This assistance has been awarded in the form of a $240,000 non-repayable financial contribution under CED's Quebec Economic Development Program (QEDP).

Quick facts

  • The aim of this pilot project is to assist members of the Quebec Outfitters Federation in implementing a structured sustainable development plan.
  • To achieve this, the QOF intends to organize awareness activities, help member outfitters prepare a sustainable development plan and conduct technical analyses to determine their equipment and technology needs.
