Quebec TV Viewers to Be Treated to RONA's Renovation, Interior Decoration and Gardening Expertise on a Daily Basis

RONA partners with new "Les idees de ma maison" channel

BOUCHERVILLE, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 19, 2008) - RONA inc. (TSX:RON), the largest Canadian distributor and retailer of hardware, home renovation and gardening products, is proud to announce its partnership with a new television channel called "Les idees de ma maison," which was launched this morning in Montreal.

As the new channel's major partner, RONA will provide exclusive content for "Idees de ma maison" subscribers. A short program called "Les idees de Martin," hosted by Martin Thibaudeau, will give RONA the opportunity to offer a variety of renovation, interior decoration and landscaping tips to TV viewers. Occasionally, Martin will welcome RONA experts to his workshop to share their knowledge on the air. The short program will be aired three times a day. "Les idees de ma maison" will also broadcast past episodes of "Ma Maison RONA."

The "Les idees de ma maison" specialty channel will allow RONA experts to share their knowledge in order to help TV viewers successfully carry out home renovation and decorating projects. The advice given on the air will also be available on the "Idees de ma maison" website.
