Quebecor Becomes Majority Shareholder of Alex Media Services

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 21, 2008) - Quebecor Media Inc. announced today that it has acquired a majority interest in Alex Media Services Inc., a distributor of flyers. Alex Media Services was founded in 1993 and has become an innovation leader in its line of business, due in part to its patented MapTrack™ technology.

Quebecor will have the benefit of the expertise of Alex Media Services founder and President Benoit Dessureault, who will stay at the helm of the company. Mr. Dessureault said he is enthusiastic about joining the Quebecor group of companies: "The complementary nature of our businesses will enable us to develop a wider range of products and conquer new market," he commented.
