Quebecor World Sweden Winning With Swedish Publishers

MONTREAL, CANADA--(Marketwire - May 15, 2008) - (TSX:IQW) Quebecor World's Sormlands Grafiska facility in Katrineholm, Sweden has further solidified its position as the Swedish market leader in magazine printing with more than 25% of the web offset magazine market. The facility's focus on quality and customer service has achieved significant success with Swedish publishers.

"Our ability to provide Swedish publishers with a comprehensive publishing solution has allowed us to repatriate a significant amount of volume that was being printed outside the country," said Hans Engstrom, Managing Director, Sormlands Grafiska. "We are able to serve Swedish publishers in their own language and produce their product closer to the end-user which reduces time-to-market and transportation costs."

In the first quarter of 2008 the facility signed agreements with three important publishers, Hjemmet Mortensen AB for 14 titles, Plaza Publishing Group for 4 titles and LRF Media for 6 titles.

"We were looking for a proven and reliable supplier that could provide us with a complete, high-quality solution to our publishing needs. Quebecor World's Sormlands Grafiska facility meets our needs and provides a top-quality, on-time product to our readers and advertisers," said Per Kallander Managing Director of Hjemmet Mortensen Sweden.

Quebecor World's Sormlands Grafiska facility serves domestic and international magazine and catalogue customers with a full-service offering including pre-press, heatset web offset and sheetfed printing heatset, bindery and distribution services.
