Quechup Releases Version 1.4 of Its Social Network

Quechup ( unveils 'new look' and a host of new member features in Version 1.4 of its successful Social Network platform. The many changes and updates include the following:


1. Create albums to organize and share photos with friends and family
2. Make albums & photos publicly viewable, 'friends' only, or create a
   private group
3. Publish your photos directly to your blog to create picture blogs
4. Rate and comment other members' photos
5. Add titles, descriptions and tags to photos and albums
6. Move photos between albums
7. Use the 'trim and crop' tool to edit photos before publishing them
8. Automatic resizing of photos for the 'web' when uploaded
9. Select favorite photo as the album cover

Upload photos and videos to a Quechup album to save time emailing them individually to friends. Family and friends can view albums and save the photos they want to their hard drive.


The 'Quechup News Feed' shows at a glance many of the actions that a Member's friends have made on Quechup. For example, if a friend adds new photos or videos, edits their profile, starts a new blog, or even comments on blogs or photos, the Member's Quechup friends will be informed via the 'News Feed' on their Home Pages.

New 'LOOK and FEEL'

Quechup now has a new fresh look, with many pages completely redesigned to incorporate new features, so it is even easier to view latest videos, access photo albums and members' blogs. Member Profiles also now contain a 'News Feed' so others can view what they have been doing and link directly to their latest activity.

Other features;

--  'Say Hi' Feature enables members that are unknown to each other to
    'break the ice.' Options include 'say hi,' 'smile,' 'wink,' and 'kiss.'
    These options make Quechup an even more 'real-life' networking platform and
    add to the overall social experience.
--  Quechup ConneQt allows unlimited FREE MESSAGING between all friends
    invited from a Member's address book. This feature enables friends to keep
    in touch with each other, arrange social events and calendars, as well as
    share photos, videos and blogs.
--  Hot-link 'tagging' of nearest cities, regions and countries enables a
    quick and easy way to browse or search for members by location, and an
    'Interest Cloud' includes all Member Interests on Quechup, enabling users
    to search for other members that share the same interests.
--  Enhanced Search Features -- Searches are now organized by 'Real Name
    and/or 'Email Address' if a member has selected to allow these options in
    their privacy settings.
--  Enhanced Privacy Settings -- Members may set privacy settings to
    determine if they want to enable other Quechup members to search for them
    by name or email address, which Quechup members can see them in search
    results and view their profiles, set who sees their friend network and who
    can see them in other members friend networks.
--  Improved Member Blacklisting -- Additional Member blocking and
    blacklisting features have been included to prevent pestering.
