Quest Adds More Than 13,000 Retail Locations to Hazardous Waste Program

Regulatory Changes Drive Adoption of Program by Multiple National Retailers; New National Retail Customer Significantly Increases Quest Total Client Locations Served to More Than 32,000

FRISCO, TX--(Marketwired - Mar 5, 2015) - Quest Resource Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: QRHC) ("Quest"), a leader in sustainability, recycling, and resource management, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Quest Resource Management Group, LLC, expanded its retail hazardous waste program by signing a new national retail account with more than 12,000 company owned stores. In addition, two existing Quest customers, a national grocery chain and a national pet supply retailer, have added this service to their existing contract, which adds an additional 1,200 locations to Quest's hazardous waste program.

Recent regulatory changes in several states have brought a new emphasis in the proper management of hazardous waste to entities that fall into the conditionally exempt and small quantity generator category. The Environmental Protection Agency, as well as various state and local agencies, are focused on improving the way retailers handle and dispose of waste that may be defective, damaged, or recalled. The items may include household cleaning products, batteries, aerosols, paints/paint removers, pharmaceuticals/medications, and other potentially hazardous items.

"Our hazardous waste program represents a significant opportunity for Quest to provide large retailers support as they develop more extensive waste compliance programs and take steps to minimize their ecological footprint," said Brian Dick, president and CEO of Quest Resource Holding Corporation. "While the initial quantities of material we expect to collect from these locations as part of the hazardous waste program are expected to be limited, the environmental impact is significant. We support organizations that take steps to protect the environment and will look to expand our partnership with new and existing customers to provide additional service offerings and solutions to promote sustainability and lower-waste initiatives."

The expansion of the hazardous waste program increases the number of total client locations for which Quest offers recycling and waste management solutions to over 32,000 and demonstrates Quest's commitment to help its clients reduce their ecological footprint while minimizing their environmental exposure.
