Questrade Launches Actively-Managed Smart ETFs(TM) Subadvised by Jarislowsky Fraser

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - September 25, 2015) - Questrade Wealth Management is pleased to announce the launch of Questrade Fixed Income Core Plus ETF on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). The ETF will begin trading today under the symbol QCP and is part of the family of Questrade Smart ETFs™.

Developed and managed by Questrade's team of portfolio managers, the sub-advisor for QCP is Jarislowsky, Fraser Limited.

Edward Kholodenko, President and CEO of Questrade Financial Group, says: "Investors and advisors typically don't have access to this caliber of investment strategy in an ETF. We are committed to breaking down this barrier. We believe investors deserve actively managed investment products with the accessibility and low cost of an ETF."

QCP is conservatively focused with an eye for opportunity. It follows an active investment strategy to seek higher yields in a challenging interest rate environment. The investment objective and prospectus are available at the firm's ETF website.

Established in 1955, Jarislowsky Fraser is one of Canada's leading independent investment firms. The firm manages portfolios for pension funds, foundations, corporations and individuals across the globe. Jarislowsky Fraser is well-regarded for its high-quality, low-risk approach. It seeks to provide superior long-term performance through its disciplined investment process that is built on a foundation of time-tested fundamental principles and 60 years of in-house research.

"This marks a seismic shift in the ETF landscape in Canada," says John Youn, Executive Managing Director, ETFs & Global Structured Products at Questrade. "There are areas of the fixed income market space previously inaccessible to retail investors and only available to institutional money managers, like Jarislowsky Fraser. Combining our expertise in the retail space with Jarislowsky Fraser's investment management leadership, we created an ETF that finally opens the doors for investors and advisors to a broad selection of fixed income securities and opportunities."

Questrade Fixed Income Core Plus ETF (QCP) joins Questrade Global Total Equity ETF (QGE), also listed today, and six ETFs launched in March, as part of the growing family of Questrade Smart ETFs™. Questrade Smart ETFs are available to all investors through their brokers, investment advisors, as well as to Questrade, Inc. clients.

This announcement of Questrade Smart ETFs on the TSX completes the initial public offering of units pursuant to a prospectus dated September 9, 2015.
