Questus Goes Platinum Three Times at the AVA Digital Awards

Work on Campaigns for Gold Medal Flour, Suzuki and The Naked Brand film Earns Top Honors

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Feb 20, 2015) - Questus, the advertising agency named 2012's Small Agency of the Year and 2011's Agency of the Year by iMedia, picked up three Platinum Awards at this year's AVA Digital Awards. The agency won for its work on Gold Medal Flour in the Website category, the Suzuki 2015 RM-Z450 Global Launch in Digital Marketing/Campaign, and for The Naked Brand Film in Video Production/Documentary.

The winners of this year's Platinum Awards -- AVA's top award -- were selected from more than 2,000 entries from throughout the U.S., Canada, and several other countries. The AVA Awards spotlight outstanding achievement and service to the profession and are sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Only 14% of the submissions won the Platinum award.

Suzuki has led the industry with its top-tier racing programs and championship-winning products, so Questus was excited to give it a championship-level integrated campaign for the global launch of the new 2015 RM-Z450 motocross bike. Shooting at Ricky Carmichael's private training facility was a great way to highlight the new features of the 2015 RM-Z450. "Winning a Platinum award for the global launch is a testament to the quality of the bike as much as for our work," said Berg.

For Gold Medal Flour, the challenge was to capture the attention of a new generation of scratch bakers. "To connect with millennials we needed to bring some 21st century relevance to the 125-year-old brand," said Questus Co-Founding Partner Jeff Rosenblum. "We needed to make the brand more accessible and shareable across digital channels." The solution was to redesign with a friendly blog-like feel, and to focus on big food images while keeping content fresh with new recipes and updates.

The Naked Brand, a documentary that focuses on how changes in the advertising industry can help corporations save the planet, was recognized with a Platinum award in the Video Production/Documentary category. "The Naked Brand is about the advertising revolution," said Rosenblum. "Corporations have incredible influence on the world we live, work and play in. Advances in technology are rapidly making them accountable not just to shareholders, but also to everyone else. Smart brands realize that looking great isn't enough. You have to be great." The film also won Best Documentary at the 2012 Social Media Film Festival, debuted on Bloomberg TV in 2013, and continues to be featured in screenings internationally.
