QuickLogic Achieves Contributor Member Status at MIPI Alliance

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 12, 2014) - QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), the innovator in low-power Customer Specific Standard Products (CSSPs), today announced that it has been granted Contributor status with the MIPI® Alliance. Contributors help define MIPI specifications by participating in the working groups. QuickLogic will focus primarily on the efforts of the Sensor Working Group within the MIPI Alliance, to help investigate requirements related to integrating sensors into mobile systems.

The MIPI Alliance is a global, collaborative organization comprised of companies that span the mobile ecosystem and are committed to defining and promoting interface specifications for mobile devices. QuickLogic has been involved with the organization for several years as an adopter, initially focused on the display subsystem. With the company's strategic move into the ultra-low power, always-on, context aware sensor hub market, it has been upgraded to contributor status.
