QuickLogic Announces ArcticLink III Tablet Production Win With Water World Technology

QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), the innovator of ultra-low-power programmable Customer Specific Standard Products (CSSPs), today announced that Water World Technology Co., a significant China-based IDH, has chosen its ArcticLink® III BX device to implement a critical MediaTek MTK6577 application processor-to-display bridging solution for a new tablet design. Water World's key selection criteria for the solution were low power consumption, a small device form factor, and "plug-and-play" capability for a short design cycle. 

Chinese IDH companies like Water World are increasingly developing mobile devices such as tablet computers for the global white-box marketplace. Their common requirements for cost effectiveness, low power, and ease-of-integration are well-suited to the capabilities of the ArcticLink III BX solution. The QuickLogic solution includes the bridging device (with multiple variants supporting a wide range of interface and display standards) as well as OEM or partner-proven Android software drivers to speed development time and lower development costs and risks.
