According to research firm IDC, the 2013 forecast for worldwide tablet sales is 229 million units, an increase of 59% over 2012. The strongest growth came from Android-based systems, including tablets made by South Korean and Taiwanese companies. IDC is also predicting total smartphone sales of 959 million units for the year, marking a nearly 33% rise from last year's figure, with South Korea accounting for 70 million unit shipments in the first quarter of 2013 alone.

The new South Korean office is located at Seongnam-City, Gyeonggi-Province, Korea.
