SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 7, 2012) -  QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), the leader in low power Customer Specific Standard Products (CSSPs), today announced that Edward Lien, QuickLogic Customer Solutions Architect, is scheduled to present at the FPD Technology and Application Forum in Taipei, Taiwan.

Location: Taipei Westin Hotel, Yong Le Grand Ballroom

Time: Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 10:10 a.m.

With displays often consuming as much as 50% of system power, system designers and device OEMs are constantly looking for ways to reduce power consumption without impacting the user experience. Another common challenge for designers and OEMs is an interface mismatch in mobile devices, which requires a bridging solution. With the right bridge, developers can easily resolve the mismatch while simultaneously adding new capabilities to the design.

Mr. Lien will discuss how QuickLogic's display solutions can extend system battery life, improve image viewability in bright sunlight, and provide a wide variety of customized bridging configurations.
