Quickparts® Makes the New 2007 Inc. Magazine 5000 Fastest-Growing Businesses With Seven-Year Sales Growth of 1300%

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - August 29, 2007) - Quickparts (http://www.quickparts.com), the leading provider of custom-manufactured plastic and metal parts, has been named to the first-ever Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the country.

The Inc. 5000, an extension of Inc. magazine's annual Inc. 500 list, captures many businesses that are too big to grow at the pace required to make the Inc. 500, as well as a host of smaller firms. Taken as a whole these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy. This first-ever list of the 5000 fastest-growing businesses reported total revenue to be $194.5 billion.

According to Ronald L. Hollis, PhD, Quickparts President and CEO, "In the product development market, Quickparts has successfully gone from a start-up company to one of the top producers of Low-Volume/Prototypes and Injection Mold Tooling Parts in just seven years. With 1300 percent growth from 2000 through 2007, we are continuing our record as one of the fast-growth success stories in North America and the innovators in product development services."

Dr. Hollis continued, "Using our patent-pending QuickQuote® instant quoting process, Quickparts is an entirely new way of obtaining custom-manufactured plastic and metal parts online. Traditional methods of obtaining rapid prototypes take too much time, leave lots of room for error and are often a bigger hassle than anticipated."

Quickparts has streamlined the RFQ and sourcing process, allowing purchasing managers and part designers to buy parts 24x7.

The 2007 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify, companies had to be U.S. based and privately held, independent -- not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies -- as of December 31, 2006 and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2003, and $2 million in 2006.

"The Inc. 5000 provides the most comprehensive look ever at the most important part of the economy -- the entrepreneurial part," said Inc. 5000 project manager Jim Melloan. "The expansion of the list has allowed us to tell the stories of larger companies, older companies and a wealth of companies in industries like manufacturing and construction that are underreported in the business media."
