Dashboard Enables Dynamic Collaboration and Communication for Incubators and VCs

LAFAYETTE, CA--(Marketwire - May 5, 2011) - Quipu Applications, Inc., a Northern California-based start-up Cloud Computing company revolutionizing the way entrepreneurs and VCs communicate and collaborate, announced today that it will launch and demo its much anticipated incQubator™ solution at the upcoming Interop 2011 in Las Vegas, NV (Start-Up City 775D). The incQubator provides branded BusinessModel™ communities -- including Office of Technology Transfer, Economic Development Centers, incubators and VCs -- with a cloud-based instrumentation and collaboration tool to monitor normalized prospect investment analysis and other key performance metrics in real-time. This announcement comes on the heels of last month's introduction of the company's cloud-based collaborative application -- BusinessModel, allowing entrepreneurs, SMBs and the investment professionals to create, share, manage and monitor their business plan and business operations.

"There are numerous software tools promising a broad range of features for start-ups and entrepreneurs," said Michael Nahass, Partner and Managing Director/COO of NMS Capital Asset Management, Inc. "Quipu changes everything for small and medium business because BusinessModel offers the most comprehensive set of capabilities available -- and because BusinessModel is 100% cloud-based, both Quipu accessibility and features are best-in-class. Quipu incQubator -- offers a 'branded' community of BusinessModel users to aggregation points for Startups and Small Business, like NMS Capital, or Commercial Incubators, VCs, Offices of Technology License and Transfer, and Student Incubators at universities and colleges nationwide. In essence, Quipu allows each community to share as much or as little information as needed, while promoting permission-based collaboration among communities."

"The incQubator community is a secure platform that protects data integrity while permitting cross community collaboration," says Michael Issa, CEO, Quipu Applications Inc. "Think of it as a virtual, private collaboration for startups or businesses of all stages."

Quipu Applications offers tremendous value to startups and investors working with businesses of all sizes. incQubator provides a secure, collaborative business planning and management platform for aggregation points of startups and small businesses. It greatly reduces operational costs while driving substantial value to the entire portfolio of companies.

Issa adds, "incQubator greatly empowers Quipu's company's cloud-based BusinessModel dashboard service, which allows entrepreneurs, small to mid-sized businesses, investors, and other stakeholders to create, manage and collaborate through a dynamic, real-time business plan. The BusinessModel dashboard is complete with financials, documents, project management and integrated blog, wiki's, posts, and grouping to keep all parties informed based on individual permissions and personal preference of notifications."
