Quorum Information Technologies, Inc. Announces Senior Management Team

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 9, 2006) - Quorum Information Technologies, Inc. (TSX VENTURE:QIS) (Quorum) is pleased to announce the following appointments effective immediately:

Lee Poseidon has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. He was previously V.P. and General Manager, Quorum U.S. Lee brings more than 20 years of global operating leadership experience having held senior positions with Reynolds and Reynolds, NADA and as head of ProQuest Global Automotive (aka Bell and Howell), just prior to joining Quorum two years ago.

Mark Allen has been promoted to V.P. Planning, Marketing and Strategic Accounts. He was previously Director of OEM Solutions and acted as the primary liaison with General Motors for the GM IDMS contract. Mark brings over 20 years of North American automotive experience, including a senior management role with EDS Automotive Retail Group (ARG), where he was responsible for the ARG system that was delivered to Saturn retailers and other dealers throughout the US marketplace.

Brian Farough has been promoted to the role of V.P. Sales. He was previously Sales Manager for North America. Brian brings 20 years of successful sales management experience in the automotive industry, including sales manager in a GM dealership and Dealer Principal at a Chrysler store. Just prior to joining Quorum, Brian led a North American sales force for a Canadian based DMS competitor and was responsible for their growth into the US marketplace.

Dan Ichelson has been promoted to V.P. Product. Dan was previously Director XSELLERATOR Development. With the recent announcement of Quorum's strategic relationship with Microsoft, it was important to bring the delivery of all elements of the Quorum solution under one product umbrella. Dan has an MBA from the University of Calgary and since joining Quorum in 1998 has been instrumental in setting the direction for XSELLERATOR product development, including our GM and Chrysler integration strategies.

Rounding out the senior executive team are Quorum's founder, President and CEO, Maury Marks, and Craig Nieboer, V.P. and CFO.

In addition, Paul Elert joins Quorum as Program Manager Strategic Accounts, and will focus on the operational management of Quorum's relationship with General Motors, reporting to Mark Allen. Paul has an extensive background in the industry, having worked with ADP and EDS in various capacities. He has also been a key member of the STAR organization (Standards for Technology in Automotive Retail), where he held board positions of Treasurer and Chairman.

"We have been able to attract and retain proven industry leaders to our management team. With the changes announced today, we feel that we have the senior management team in place to drive Quorum as it becomes a significant force in the automotive dealership management systems (DMS) industry in North America," said Larry Shelley, Chairman of the Board.

Quorum also announced today that Bill Thompson, V.P. Business Development and an Officer of the Company, resigned from Quorum effective, October 31, 2006 and has returned to the retail automotive business. Mr. Thompson will be assuming a senior management role with the Wheaton Group, a successful retailer of GM vehicles in Western Canada. In addition, Mr. Thompson will continue to lend his expertise and guidance to Quorum as a strategic product and market advisor.
