QuorumLabs Attracts New Resellers, Appoints New Senior VP of Sales

FREMONT, CA--(Marketwire - December 14, 2010) - QuorumLabs (www.quorumlabs.com) today announced that industry veteran Chris Moore has joined the company as senior vice president of sales and business development. His appointment comes at a time when the company is experiencing rapid growth in its customer base, adding new resellers, and expanding company operations.

"Once I saw the onQ business continuity appliance from QuorumLabs, I knew I had to be a part of this company," said Chris Moore of QuorumLabs. "At a previous company, KACE Networks, I saw first-hand the key ingredients for success, and I see many similarities with QuorumLabs. Both companies offer a unique appliance-based system that's simple for customers and friendly for the channel. And the onQ solution addresses an even broader need for near-instant business continuity."

QuorumLabs also accepted several new resellers into its growing Partner Program, which allows VARs to deliver sophisticated business continuity solutions to their customers in an affordable, easy-to-use appliance-based package.

"The onQ solution opens up doors for us with a compelling offering that's not available from the competition. onQ is packaged in a way that makes upgrading from traditional backup to business continuity easy and affordable for any business," said John Zammett, president of HorizonTek, Inc. "QuorumLabs is easy to work with and they're genuinely interested in our success, giving us access to their key developers and sales people."

"There are really no other products available where you can log onto a web browser, click a button, and initiate complete system protection in less than a minute," said Andrew Betterton, president and CEO of Open Storage Solutions. "Plus, onQ goes beyond backup and makes complete business continuity easy and affordable, giving companies peace of mind knowing that their data and applications will be up and running within minutes of a disaster."

The elegant simplicity and affordability of the onQ solution continues to generate steady growth in the company's customer base, including new customers Boulay, Heutmaker, Zibell & Co. P.L.L.P and a large Southwest power supplier.

New Senior VP of Sales
In his new role, Chris Moore brings strong leadership and a consistent track record of building and leading high performance sales teams. Prior to joining QuorumLabs, Chris was senior vice president, worldwide sales and marketing, for GlobalView Software Inc., a leading provider of Energy Data Management Solutions. Before that, he was vice president of worldwide sales for KACE Networks (acquired by Dell), where he led the team in delivering 19 straight quarters of record sales. Chris also has held senior sales executive roles at AvantGo, Genesys Telecommunications, ParcPlace-Digitalk and NeXT.
