Quosal, LLC Announces Latest Innovations Including Visual Quoting, AvaTax Integration

BOTHELL, WA--(Marketwire - Aug 22, 2011) - Quosal, LLC, provider of the market-leading Quosal software platform for the preparation, delivery and management of sales quotes and proposals and the Order Porter quote and proposal platform, has released Quosal 2012, the next major step forward for the Quosal product line. New features for Quosal 2012 include Quosal's Visual Quoting, integration with Avalara's AvaTax web-based sales tax solutions and expansion of Quosal's Etilize® integration to the UK market.

Visual Quoting allows any image to be converted to a format that can be imported to the Quosal application, allowing customer quotes and proposals to be prepared by clicking on designated areas within the image. "The concept is relatively simple and easy to implement," said McNall. "Visual Quotes are also compatible with the 2012 version of our Mobile platform for the Apple iPad which means you'll soon be able to use the iPad to visually create quotes and proposals, from the simplest to the most sophisticated, in minutes on your iPad."

Quosal also announced integration with Avalara's AvaTax web-based sales tax solutions, which the Quosal platform will use for real-time sales tax jurisdiction assignment and tax calculation. AvaTax also works with Quosal's online quote delivery system, Order Porter. The AvaTax integration is a premium service and requires an AvaTax subscription.

This major release of Quosal 2012 follows on the earlier announced release of Quosal's Mobile extension to the Order Porter platform for the iPad, to be followed later in 2011 by other mobile platform extensions. Other new features of Quosal 2012 include the extensions of Quosal's Etilize catalog integration to the UK. "We've invested in the UK catalog from Etilize for our partners in that important market," said McNall. "We have a long-term commitment to our clients in the UK."

Quosal also announced key additions to its market-leading integrations to partner ConnectWise with highly anticipated API extensions. Other integrations that were expanded include Microsoft CRM and Dynamics, Autotask, and salesforce.com.
