A stunning new collection of classic Jaguar cars has been unveiled by Lord Montagu at one of the UK's leading attractions, Beaulieu, home of the National Motor Museum, in the New Forest.

The Jaguar Jamboree exhibition showcases the iconic Jaguar marque with a selection of vehicles from its illustrious past. The exhibition tells the Jaguar story starting with one of the earliest examples, the Austin Seven Swallow, and continues with cars including the iconic XK120, through to the new Jaguar XF.

Lord Montagu said: "We have an incredible collection of classic cars on show. Jaguar is one of the world's most revered and celebrated motoring marques because of the sheer beauty of engineering and styling. This collection defines Jaguar as a car of style, elegance and sophistication."

Beside the Jaguar Jamboree exhibition, the National Motor Museum is home to a collection of more than 250 vehicles from the dawn of motoring through to the present day. Cars on display include TV favourite Del Boy's Reliant Regal and Mr Bean's bright green mini, as well as an impressive collection of historic racing and Formula One cars.

Other highlights at Beaulieu include Wheels - a space age pod that takes you on a journey through motoring history. Ride on the high level Monorail or climb aboard the replica 1912 open top London bus for a fun way to see the sights. Budding drivers can get in the driving seat on the Mini Car Driving Circuit.

Beaulieu is the perfect attraction for all the family this Easter holiday, with fun activities including the egg-citing 'Easter Egg-stravaganza', a Hare-Brained Easter Trail with prizes for those who can find the clues.

Another top attraction is Palace House, home to the Montagu family since 1538. History comes alive with real life characters, such as the butler, cook and housemaids, who give a fascinating insight into the workings of a Victorian household.

Take a walk through the serene cloisters and herb garden of picturesque 13th Century Beaulieu Abbey and learn more about the history of its Cistercian Monk founders.

Visitors can also explore the magnificent Beaulieu Gardens, which are particularly beautiful at this time of year, including the Victoria Flower Garden, the Wilderness Garden and the Ornamental Kitchen Garden. On selected days join Victorian gardener, Ruben, for a guided stroll around the gardens.

If you don't get to do everything you want on your visit, don't worry because your next visit, within a week, is free as part of the admission price(i).

In celebration of the Jaguar Jamboree exhibition, there will be a Jaguar Jamboree Day at Beaulieu on 19 July 2009, giving Jaguar car owners the opportunity to be part of the collection for the day. For more information on this and other events at Beaulieu this Easter, visit
