Radiant Announces AlwaysThere™ Business Continuity Solutions

Radiant Serves SME Market with Enterprise-Level Exchange Solution

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 18, 2007) - Radiant Communications Corp. ("Radiant") (TSX VENTURE:RCN), Canada's leading supplier of Broadband Solutions for Business™, today announced the launch of its "AlwaysThere" Business Continuity Solutions designed for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME's). Radiant's first product offering in its new Suite is an enterprise-level solution for hosting Microsoft Exchange® that was previously unavailable to SME's.

Based on grid computing, and powered by VMware®, Radiant's AlwaysThere hosted Exchange provides SME's with a secure and fully redundant Exchange environment with continuous back-ups, and virtually unlimited disk space.

"Radiant's AlwaysThere hosted Exchange is the most cost effective, reliable and secure email solution for companies with 10 - 500 users," said David Buffett President and CEO of Radiant. "We have architected this solution specifically to address the needs of SME's for business continuity and email archiving."

AlwaysThere hosted Exchange is announced after six months of development and testing. "We have leveraged three disruptive technologies -- grid computing, virtualization from VMware, and storage area networks that scale to 100's of terabytes -- to design the optimal solution for hosting Microsoft Exchange," said Adrian Byram, Radiant's Chief Technology Officer. "By running a separate virtual instance of Exchange for each client in secure data centres, the client has all the flexibility and control of running Exchange on their own equipment, but without worrying about business continuity, redundant servers, and backups."

"Our AlwaysThere hosting environment replaces the clutter and unreliable environment of servers running in the closets of many SME's with super-reliable Software-as-a-Service housed in secure data centres," said David Buffett. "Best of all, the client avoids spending capital dollars on equipment that will rapidly become obsolete, and pays for only the resources he actually uses each month," added CTO Adrian Byram.

The launch of AlwaysThere hosted Exchange is the first of several products Radiant plans to release in the near future as part of its AlwaysThere Solutions designed to enable SME's with enterprise-level business continuity.
